Brian Burke is President / CEO of Praxis Capital Inc, a vertically integrated real estate private equity investment firm. Praxis operates on multiple platforms, currently managing active syndications for the acquisition of single family, multifamily and opportunistic residential assets in US growth markets.
Over the course of a real estate investment career that began in 1989, the offerings Brian manages have acquired over 700 properties, including over 2,000 multifamily units, with the assistance of proprietary software that he wrote himself. Acquired asset classes include single family homes, self storage, mixed-use and large apartment complexes in multiple states. Brian has arranged well over $300 million in debt and equity for Praxis acquisitions. Praxis’ current portfolio exceeds $200 million of real estate assets under management.
As a recognized expert Brian has been a frequent speaker at real estate forums and conferences; including the Opal Family Office & Private Wealth Management Forum, the Keiretsu Real Estate Forum and the Institute for Private Investors. He has also served as co-host and real estate expert on the Fox News Radio show, “The Best of Investing”.
Brian is married and has lived in Northern California for over 30 years. An avid aviation enthusiast, he is a licensed instrument-rated airplane and helicopter pilot.

John Casmon is the co-founder of Casmon Capital Group, a Chicago-based real estate investment firm. He controls over $18M in real estate holdings. Matt Faircloth, Co-founder & President of the DeRosa Group, is a seasoned real estate investor and developer. Carl Fischer is a Cornell University graduate and third-generation real estate developer. Carl began his investing career in the 1970’s when he was employed as a rocket scientist at Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. He is presently one of the principals of CAMA Self-Directed IRA, LLC. Carl has been involved in over $20M in real estate transactions. His real estate investments include both commercial and residential properties, notes, and mortgages.
Andresa Guidelli was born and raised in Brazil. After finishing up her MBA she made the bold move to the United States to start her second master’s degree in Professional Business Communication at La Salle University. After graduating, she worked as a “door to door” salesperson where she gained the value of learning the importance of providing custom solutions for clients and thick skin to handle no more than a few dozen times on a daily basis.
She specializes in full gut renovation projects and building new construction developments in Philadelphia, PA and NJ. Andresa runs the day to day operations of her own construction projects, as well as those of other investors from single family to apartment complexes. In doing so, she creates systems to ensure scalability, efficiency, and quality.
She also owns and manages a small rental portfolio in Philadelphia, comprised of both long and short term rentals. She is the co-founder of Monarch: Short Term Rentals. Long Term Relationships, where she offers a “5 Step Conversion Package” tailored for Real Estate investors who currently own long term rentals and want to diversify their portfolio by entering the short term rental arena. The conversion goes from market analysis, construction, furnishing, creating and managing online listings and providing a custom experience to guests around the world.
She is also the co-founder of The Real Estate InvestHER show, a podcast to empower women to live a financially free and balanced life. Brandon Hall, owner of The Real Estate CPA, is an entrepreneur at heart who happens to be good at taxes. Brandon is a real estate investor and CPA specializing in providing business advice and creative tax strategies for real estate investors. Brandon’s ‘Big 4’ and personal investing experiences allow him to provide unique advice to each of his clients.
Jay started in Real Estate as a licensed agent at age 18 in 1975, in Northern California. He became a Broker in CA at age 20, and sold Real Estate extensively until he was 32. He then worked for syndicators through the 1980’s, doing land acquisition for housing subdivisions in the Sacramento foothills and the Bay Area. Then, in 1987, Jay was named President of a Langer Mortgage in Oakland, CA – a traditional HML company that had about $50 million under management.
This company was sold in 1992 and he started working in the Land and Timber Industry in Oregon, commuting from Napa Valley. After a great run, he obtained a Brokers license in Oregon and started in the Foreclosure business – both “court house steps” and pre-foreclosure, working up to one of the top 5 buyers of foreclosures in the market place, doing 100 plus buys and flips a year.
As this became super competitive, he obtain his MLO license and started another Hard Money Lending company which ran up to $30 million before the Crash of 2008. Just like anyone in lending in ’08 they were not immune and had to work through a lot of problem loans, and the company ended up owning 200 homes in the Turn Key markets of the MidWest. After that, Jay started buying rentals in the South East, acquiring up to 300+ rental properties. Having enough of landlord business, he sold out to partners in Oct of 2013. Today, Jay manages select accredited investor funds, working in the mezzanine lending business making very handsome returns.

In 2008, J and his wife Carol decided to leave the 80-hour work weeks and the constant business travel behind. They quit their corporate jobs, moved back East, got married, started a family and decided to try something new. Dave Van Horn is CEO at PPR Note Co, which manages private mortgage investment funds. Dave has been in the real estate business for over 25 years, starting out as a Realtor and contractor and moving onto everything from fix and flips to raising private money. He is an avid investor in notes and mortgages, as well as a long-term holder of multiple investment properties. In addition to being a board member and facilitating the Strategic Investor Alliance group, Dave also travels to many RE meetings and conferences as a national speaker on real estate note investing.

Al Williamson is a professional engineer, full-time real estate investor, and the author of a several real estate books. He began investing in 1996. Al is best known for publicly documenting his quest to create enough ancillary income to cover the 1st mortgage of his eight-unit apartment building (which he accomplished in September 2015). He is now trying to figure out how to hot-rod one residential rental so it generates enough income to replace a middle-class job. Al is a proud family man who now spends his day managing and expanding his corporate housing business in Sacramento, California.

Upon graduation from Colgate University, Ashley worked in Clinical Research & Development for three major pharmaceutical companies. During her tenure in Pharmaceuticals, she acquired her first rental property which started her passion for real estate investing. Ashley partnered with her father and founded HouseItLook LLC, a real estate flipping business in the suburbs of Philadelphia.
HouseItLook handles several million in transactions annually. Recently, Ashley has made the jump to apartment syndication, and is a General Partner in 284 units, and has invested in another 101 units.
