First Sterling Bank started as a de novo bank in 1988 and is now part of Bank of America. Barbara S. Cohen (Married name Roach) entered the insurance industry in 1984 after studying finance at Drexel University. Barb received her training at the Travelers home office school in Hartford, CT. Her training continued at Travelers PRIME agent training program for 2 years, and then transitioned to Snyder Moore Agencies, Inc. in 1986. Barb has lived in the West Chester area for the past 32 years and has two adult children. Kevin Roach joined his mother at Snyder Moore Agencies last January, 2017 & is learning the industry from the ground up. He is finishing his Business Management degree at Temple University this year. Her daughter, Ashley Roach is finishing her junior year at Millersville University this May. In her spare time, Barb is an avid sports fan and enjoys golfing & with her husband at Penn Oaks Gold Club.

Liz Faircloth

After selling their first investment property, she co-founded the DeRosa Group with her husband. John Groom

Many of our friends refer to John Groom as their resident CPA expert on real estate and income taxes. He is the one they go to for advice on how to structure entities and deals to minimize taxes and personal liability. John actively invests in real estate and paper and is also a private lender and borrower. Many of his deals involve shared appreciation provisions on one side or the other.

Since the middle of December, John has kept busy changing and fine tuning deals and entities to take advantage of the new TCJA (Tax Cut and Jobs Act) law which took effect January 1.
